Akothee has spoken very angry and sad about how Kenyans are behaving online. She said her message is to Kenyans. She asked Kenyans what has really happened to us as a people.

She said long ago people cared for each other, people respected one another, but now it looks like everyone just wants to hurt others and laugh about it.

She said nowadays people have lost empathy and respect. What people are doing on social media, especially on TikTok, is not content anymore. It is pure wickedness, mockery, and disrespect of the highest kind.

Akothee said she cannot understand how people can find joy in laughing at other people’s pain. She said there is no entertainment in shaming others. She talked about Hon.

Ruth Odinga and said that woman is old enough to be someone’s grandmother, so she deserves big respect. She asked, where did we throw away our manners? Where did we forget that age and leadership deserve honor?.

Akothee also mentioned those people making fun of Raila Junior and said it is very bad. She asked them, what do you get from laughing at another person’s sickness or problem? Do you not have any feeling or a heart?

She said all this behavior people are calling jokes is not funny at all. It is cyberbullying, harassment, and shaming. It is people being cruel for likes and views.

She said as a mother, she feels hurt seeing young people growing up without kindness. She said Kenya must change because this is not who we are.

Akothee said we must start teaching our children how to be kind, not how to mock others. She told people to report those who post bad and disrespectful videos.

She said everyone must help to bring back humanity on social media. People must remember that behind every phone screen is a real person, a real family, and a human being who feels pain.

She ended by saying she is very pissed and disappointed. She said Kenyans should stop being cruel just to trend. We must bring back kindness, respect, and humanity.
