Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is set to begin a 10-day official visit to the United Kingdom starting Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The trip, organized by the Wiper Patriotic Front, aims to strengthen Kenya’s international ties, expand the party’s diplomatic engagements, and connect with members of the Kenyan diaspora.

According to a statement from the party, the visit will feature a series of high-level meetings with international institutions, policymakers, and thought leaders.

Kalonzo is expected to deliver keynote speeches at some of the world’s most respected platforms, including the London Political Summit and Awards at the UK Parliament in Westminster.

He will also address scholars and policy experts at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and deliver a special lecture at Oxford University.

The statement further revealed that the former Vice President will hold discussions with officials from the Commonwealth Secretariat and later host a town hall meeting with Kenyans living in the UK.

The meeting will focus on issues of governance, economic empowerment, and the contribution of the diaspora community to Kenya’s development.

“The visit is part of continuing efforts to build lasting global partnerships and promote Kenya’s image abroad while engaging citizens on matters of national renewal,” the Wiper Party noted.

After a fiery address during the Wiper National Delegates Conference held at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.

During the event, he urged Kenyans to vote out the current administration in the 2027 General Election, accusing it of mishandling the country’s affairs and ignoring the plight of young people killed during the 2024 anti-government protests.

The conference brought together key opposition figures, including former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, and former Cabinet Secretaries Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang’i.

The leaders pledged to unite the opposition and present a single presidential candidate to challenge President William Ruto in the next election.

Kalonzo’s UK visit is widely viewed as part of his broader strategy to boost his international profile and position himself as a statesman with a global outlook ahead of the 2027 political race.

His engagements are expected to highlight governance reforms, economic inclusion, and Kenya’s evolving democratic space in the global arena.
