The United Opposition candidate in the by-election was attacked by goons at his hotel in Kaburengu where he usually spends the night with his wife.
Narrating to the media, Panyako revealed that they had received intelligence reports of a planned attack by the police into the hotel.
However, he confessed that that did not happen. However, at around 8:30 pm, he received a report that Stanley Livondo wanted to see him. He reveals that Livondo had hidden his car number plates using black tapes.
That is when the attack ensued. He observes that the aim is to kill him after realising that his win is inevitable.
Apart from Livondo, Panyako places President William Ruto's Personal Assistant Farouk Kibet, former Sports CS Rashid Echesa and Lugari constituency Member of Parliament Nabii Nabwera at the centre of this violence.
