Fresh reports have surfaced from reputable sources indicating why the Head of State His Excellency President William Ruto trusted Mr. Felix Koskei to serve as the President's Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in Kenya.

As revealed by powerful forces working closer to President William Ruto, Felix Koskei was trusted to spearhead the plum position because he is very effective in turning policies into actions and ensuring government is strict to its agenda.

Mr. Koskei was also trusted for role, because he is very unique in helping to maintain austerity measures by reducing unnecessary spending by the President's office, thus helping to address budget deficits.

On behalf of President Ruto, Felix Koskei has been tasked to handle communication with all the ministries, state departments, and agencies regarding day to day operations by the Kenya Kwanza government.

Additionally, Koskei also implements all the directives by his boss President Ruto as well as oversights State entities and government delivery.

According to State House comptroller Katoo Ole Metito, Mr Koskei together with other trusted aides known as the "inner circle" of President William Ruto are on paygrades equivalent to Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) or Principal Secretaries (PSs), taking home over Ksh 1 million per month, inclusive of allowances.

Before Felix Koskei was appointed by Ruto on October 14th, 2022, to serve as the Chief of Staff, he had previously served as the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in 2013, during the former Jubilee administration that was being spearheaded by retired President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta.
