A woman died during Prophet David Owuor’s end-of-year healing crusade at Technology Farm in Nakuru, according to sources close to the event.

The incident reportedly occurred on December 30, 2025, during the Menengai 8 meeting, one of the several sessions of the three-day crusade that attracts thousands of worshippers from across Kenya.

Witnesses said the woman collapsed during the event. Her body was later moved to Egerton Funeral Home in Njoro before being transported to her family in Luanda, Kakamega, on December 31.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) confirmed they received information about the death but noted that no formal report had been filed at any police station. Authorities are still following up to establish full details.

Prophet Owuor, founder of the Repentance and Holiness Ministry, held the crusade from December 29 to January 1, showcasing individuals who he said had been healed from various conditions. The crusade concluded with the Prophet leaving Nakuru on January 1, 2026.

Attendees described the event as a major gathering of worshippers, while authorities emphasized the importance of safety and proper reporting during large events.

This incident highlights the need for clarity and transparency whenever serious health issues occur during large gatherings.
