President William Ruto sparked loud cheers after taking a direct swipe at his former deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and other opposition figures allegedly plotting a United Opposition alliance ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Addressing residents during a public rally, Ruto dismissed the opposition’s reported power-sharing plan, saying the country cannot be divided among a few leaders meeting in hotels.
“Kuna wanaume tano wameketi chini wanagawana Kenya. Mmoja ana 50 per cent, mwingine 20 per cent. Hii Kenya sio yenu, ni ya hawa Wakenya wote.
