Thursday, the 12th of February, was indeed a special day for the Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga.
This is because on the day, her first-born son Sankara Raila Odinga officially turned a year older, a milestone that confirmed that he had indeed opened a new chapter with regards to his life.
Like any other loving mother out there who is usually proud of the milestones of her kid(s), Ruth Odinga was also proud of Sankara Raila Odinga's birthday and therefore she celebrated it in style.
The Kisumu Woman Representative actually took to her Facebook account and shared a photo of herself posing with her son at a previous event.
Ruth Odinga then accompanied the photo with a heartwarming message in which she pampered Sankara Raila Odinga with love and praises.
She also wished him the very best with regards to this new chapter of his life.

As Sankara Raila Odinga turns a year older, it should be noted that he is the first child that Hon. Ruth odinga birthed with her Ghanaian husband Nana Busia.
