Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has made a strong statement through a simple but eye-catching T-shirt.
A day after the High Court stopped his removal as Secretary General of the Orange Democratic Movement, Sifuna stepped out wearing a branded white T-shirt that carried a bold political message.
The T-shirt had the words “Mimi Ndio Sifuna” printed across the front. The slogan was written in bright colours inspired by the Kenyan flag. The design was clear and direct. It carried a tone of confidence and self-belief.
The message on the shirt appeared to respond to attempts within the party to push him out of office. Instead of issuing a long statement, Sifuna chose to let the branding speak for him.
The shirt also carried his name in large print. The style looked deliberate and carefully planned. It was not just casual clothing. It was political messaging.
This came just hours after the court halted the decision by the party’s National Executive Council to remove him. The legal order gave him room to remain in office as the matter continues in court.
