President Ruto has singled out two Members of Parliament (MPs) who will have a special chapter in his book.

Speaking today at State House, Nairobi President Ruto named National Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah and Chair of Finance Committee Kimani Kuria as the two MPs who will have a special chapter in his book.

According to Ruto the two Legislators deserve a special chapter in his book because of the role they played as far as the National Infrastructure Fund Bill that was passed by Parliament is concerned.

"In approving this legislation, Parliament has once again demonstrated foresight, responsibility and a shared commitment to strengthen the long-term foundation of our country's growth and prosperity.

Let me single out the Leader of Majority and the Chair and Committee of Parliament on Finance. Please if they can rise up so that we can applaud them.

Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen, when I finally write my book you will have a special chapter because what we are doing today is very very consequential to the development of our great nation." Ruto said.

He said this today at State House during the Presidential assent to the National Infrastructure Fund Bill which seeks to close the infrastructure gap by raising over Ksh 5 trillion to fund key projects.
