Deputy president Kithure Kindiki today spent the better part of the day in Siaya county where he led in Resource Mobilization for Boda Boda SACCOs in Siaya county where he was accompanied by key leaders from Nyanza region.
The second in command was accompanied by Siaya governor James Orengo, Senate Majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Senators Oburu Odinga, MPs Samuel Atandi of Alego Usonga, Aduma Owuor of Nyakach, Gideon Ochanda of Bondo, among others.
However, this event was skipped by top Nyanza region leaders including Minority leader Junet Mohammed, Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi, Treasury CS John Mbadi, Siaya deputy governor, MPs David Ochieng, Peter Kaluma among other key leaders.
However, despite their absence, the todays rally went on well where the top leaders who were present called for the unity of the Luo nation a head and after the August 2027 general elections in the country.
They also talked about Raila's health where they said Raila is in good condition and is expected back to the country anytime soon.
