Autopsy Results Revealed as GSU Officer is Accused of Killing Kayole Girlfriend

Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of a 23-year-old woman allegedly killed by her GSU boyfriend.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Ann Muthoni Ngunjiri, was found dead on February 2, 2026, in her rented home in Mihango, Kayole.

The neighbor who found her body called the police, who revealed that she was lying on the bed. 

A knife suspected to have been used in the murder was also recovered at the scene.

Police said the suspect tried to frame his friend by leaving his ID at the scene.

The body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary pending autopsy and other procedures.

An autopsy conducted on February 4, 2026, revealed the cause of death to be injuries due to a combination of sharp object and blunt force trauma.

Police called on residents with any information that might assist in the ongoing investigations to come forward.

Authorities also called on the suspect to surrender to the police.

Neighbors alleged that the two had been in an on-and-off relationship. The two were known for their constant fights.

He allegedly went to the house of the deceased, killed her, and fled the scene at night .
