Controversial city preacher Victor Kanyari has once again found himself at the center of public debate after screening viral videos of a Russian man during a Sunday service at Salvation Healing Ministries.

The weekend service took an unexpected turn when Kanyari displayed the clips on a large screen near the altar, drawing the attention of congregants.

The videos reportedly featured the now-trending Russian content creator interacting with Kenyan women, content that has sparked widespread discussion online in recent weeks.

According to Kanyari, his intention was to inform church members who may not have access to smartphones or social media platforms about why the foreign national has been trending.

As the videos played, the preacher expressed shock over the nature of the recordings, questioning why such personal encounters were filmed and shared publicly.

“He even posted videos with men. In one clip, you see him speaking to a security guard, and then they leave together,” Kanyari told the congregation, prompting murmurs and visible reactions from some worshippers.

While some members appeared surprised, others listened attentively as he continued addressing the matter.

Kanyari linked the incidents to what he described as a “spirit of poverty,” arguing that financial struggles may push individuals into uncomfortable or compromising situations.

He led the church in prayer, asking God to uplift congregants financially and shield them from desperation.

The preacher also questioned why religious leaders often find themselves responding to trending social topics.

He referenced another clip allegedly showing the same Russian man approaching a woman inside a church in Roysambu, raising concerns about boundaries and respect for sacred spaces.

In a lighter moment that shifted the mood, Kanyari invited social media personality Marion Naipei to the altar.

He surprised her with a bouquet of red roses, referring to her as his “one and only.” The congregation cheered as Naipei smiled, danced briefly, and embraced him.

The service, blending social commentary with celebration, has since generated intense online discussion.
