Kaluma says that Babu Owino thought that by backing Gachagua, he will get the votes from his in-laws and then use that support to try and become the next Nairobi governor.

He is saying that Babu Owino should go back to Embakasi East, where he is the current MP, and stop trying to fight a battle that is very dangerous and maybe impossible to win.
Kaluma says this mistake is serious. Babu Owino put himself against ODM, one of the strongest parties in Kenya, and he also went against Raila Odinga, who is a very big leader.
By doing this, he made many people angry and he also risked losing support from people who were helping him.
Kaluma says this move will make Babu Owino lose even more support and maybe even lose his chance to do well in future elections.
Kaluma wants Babu Owino to know that politics is not small game. He says you must know who is with you and who is not. If you think people will help you and they don’t, then you will fall.
That is exactly what is happening now. Babu Owino thought his in-laws will stand with him, but they have left him. Kaluma is telling him to be careful and not to lose more.
