According to Mark Ouko, whereas there is a group of Gen Z that is of the elite class, that may want to analyze issues before deciding, most of those within the youthful population will eventually resort to voting according to what is popular within their tribes.
"There is no political constituency called Gen Z; it is an amorphous concept. These young people are going to vote according to their tribes."

According to Mark Ouko, most of the Gen Z will have resigned to their rural homes by the time we get to elections, and it will be difficult for any of them to do contrary to what the tribes men do.
The statement by the activist comes at a time when the political temperatures in the country have continued to heighten ahead of 2027 General elections.
The Gen Z population has been considered the target of politicians with experts arguing the whoever wins the heart of this young population may have the chance of becoming Kenya's next President.
