Shock in Machakos Village as Bride Who Disappeared on Wedding Day Returns Weeks Later With Mysterious Explanation

 

Residents of a Machakos estate have been left puzzled after a bride who had dramatically disappeared shortly before her wedding returned two weeks later, insisting that something beyond her control made her change her mind.

The young woman had shocked family members and neighbours when she abruptly left just days before her scheduled wedding. 

Preparations had already been completed, guests invited and relatives travelling from different counties to attend the ceremony.

According to family sources, the bride left without clearly explaining her decision, leaving the groom and both families deeply embarrassed. 

The wedding was eventually cancelled, with many guests returning home confused about what had happened.

For two weeks, the woman reportedly stayed away from the estate, avoiding calls from relatives and refusing to discuss the matter.

Then, just as people had begun accepting that the relationship was over, she suddenly returned.

Witnesses say the woman showed up at the groom’s home looking emotional and nervous. Neighbours who saw the moment claim she apologised repeatedly to the man and his family.

What surprised people most was her explanation.
