President William Ruto addressed a large crowd at Malaha Market in Kakamega County during his tour of the Western region. The visit attracted hundreds of residents who gathered around the market area to listen to his message and witness the ongoing development discussions in the region.

The president stood through the sunroof of his vehicle as he greeted supporters who had filled the streets and nearby trading centres. Security officers and local leaders struggled to control the excited crowd as many people tried to get closer to the convoy.

During his address, Ruto strongly criticised opposition leaders who have been challenging his government in recent months. He accused them of misleading the public and spreading false information about the work being done by the national administration.

The president said some politicians were busy attacking the government instead of focusing on development issues that affect ordinary citizens. According to him, the country needs leaders who are ready to work and support programs that improve the lives of Kenyans.

Ruto defended his administration’s development agenda and highlighted several projects that are currently underway across the country. He pointed to road construction, market improvements, and economic empowerment programs aimed at supporting small businesses.
