A young Zambian police officer has died in a shocking incident that is now being linked to financial stress.
The officer, identified as Constable Eric Ikowa, was found dead early Tuesday morning after reportedly taking his own life with his service weapon.
Ikowa had recently been recruited into the Zambia Police Service and was serving under the Mufulira detachment.
According to reports shared through voice notes and images circulating on social media, Ikowa had been struggling with debt and appeared emotionally distressed in the days leading up to his death.READ MORE................
