"No One Can Remove Me From ODM" SG Sifuna Says, Alleges Misuse of 2022 Campaign Funds by MP Junet

Addressing the whispers of internal sabotage that have haunted the ODM since the last general election, Edwin Sifuna has finally broken his silence on the push to quit narratives currently swirling around him.

The ODM Secretary-General has taken a defiant stance against those he claims are trying to intimidate him out of the party.

He further dispelled rumors regarding a shift in party loyalty, reaffirming that Raila Odinga never endorsed William Ruto, despite the broadbased cooperation.

According to Sifuna, the mission remains unchanged that the focus is squarely on the 2027 transition.

Turning to the most explosive part of his statement, Sifuna has pointed fingers directly at Suna East MP Junet Mohamed regarding the infamous 2022 campaign finances.

The Secretary-General has alleged that Junet mismanaged a significant portion of the funds provided by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This isn't just a minor accounting error, Sifuna has explicitly claimed that money intended for party operations and the payment of hardworking field agents was diverted.

"You took that money, failed to remit it fully, and ate some of it," Sifuna has alleged, highlighting a betrayal that many believe cost the coalition dearly at the polling stations.

This public fallout exposes a raw nerve within the ODM leadership. By naming Junet as the person responsible for the missing agent fees, Sifuna is effectively blaming internal greed for the logistical failures of 2022.

It’s a bold move that signals a gloves-off era in our politics, where long-standing allies are now forced to answer for the ghost of elections past.

As the party looks toward the next cycle, this internal cleansing suggests that the road to 2027 will be paved with both accountability and high-stakes confrontation.
