Biketi's attention was drawn to an update made on social media claiming that she demanded that her partner Wycliffe Oparanya be named Ruto's running mate in 2027. The alleged post quoted Mary Biketi also telling off Gladys Wanga to forget about being Ruto's running mate in 2027. She also allegedly predicted that she will be Kenya's first lady in 2032.
However, Mary Biketi has set the record straight. She denied making the statements and threatened to take legal action against the one who made the post.
According to her, the claims are unrelated to her. Hence she made it clear that appropriate action will be taken so that it serves as a lesson to others who have the habit of spreading false information.
"This information is false and completely unrelated to me. I take this matter very seriously, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure it serves as a lesson to others," reads Mary Biketi's messafe
