Wiper Boss, Kalonzo Musyoka on Tuesday, February 3, formally accepted his appointment as Party Leader of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition.

In a statement shared on social media, Musyoka expressed gratitude to coalition chairman Uhuru Kenyatta, the coalition leadership, and all constituent parties for entrusting him with the leadership role.

He also congratulated colleagues who were given other key leadership positions within the coalition.

“Azimio continues to represent the hopes of millions who believe in justice, inclusivity, and a Kenya that works for everyone,” Musyoka said.

He called on like-minded individuals and political parties to join the coalition as a “government in waiting.”

Musyoka emphasized that the movement is bigger than any individual, stressing that the focus should remain on national unity and principled leadership.

“I urge my fellow countrymen and women not to despair. Together, we will offer principled leadership focused on national renewal,” he added.

The Wiper leader’s acceptance comes amid a period of realignment within Kenya’s political landscape, as coalitions prepare for future elections.

The shake-up comes against a backdrop of political realignments following the demise of Odinga. Junet has been openly associating with the UDA.
