A vocal Kericho Leader MCA Paul Chirchir has elicited mixed reactions after accusing Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot of refusing to shake his hand during MP Johana Ngeno's body escort.
The Kericho leader was among the group that escorted the remains of MP Johana Ng'eno from Eldoret,.where it had been kept at the mortuary overnight following fatal chopper crash in Nandi, Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.
The MCA revealed that they landed safely at JKIA and were received by leaders led by CSs Kipchumba Murkomen and David Chirchir as well as a section of Governors, Senators and MPs.
However, the MCA claimed that he was embarrassed after Aaron Cheruiyot snubbed him. He accused the Kericho Senator of refusing to shake his hands despite stretching it to say pole.

Suprisingly even during this low moments Senator Aaron Cheruiyot refused to shake my hand as i stretched to say Pole. Niliaibika sana. Lakini that's a story for another day." Reads Paul Chirchir's message.
MCA Paul Chirchir and Aaron Cheruiyot have been known to be political rivals in Kericho County, with the MCA on record vowing to challenge Cheruiyot in the 2027 Senatorial race.
