Since his death, the wife of Johanna Ngeno, the late MP for Emurua Dikirr, has been seen in public for the first time.

The country is still sad about the death of a leader that lots of people have called humble and dedicated.

The MP died on February 28 when a helicopter crashed in Nandi County's Chepkiep area, sadly killing him, the pilot, and four other people.

His photographer also died. This was a shock to Kenyans, and messages of sympathy came from all over the political spectrum.

On March 1, some politicians went to the family home in Nairobi. The MP's widow, Nayianoi Ntutu Ngeno, greeted them quietly.

She looked very sad while the members of Parliament's funeral group spoke with her. It was her first time out in public since her husband passed away.

Johanna Ngeno, who was in his third term as a legislator and also a trained lawyer, was well-liked in Emurua Dikirr because he got along well with his voters and cared about growth.

Friends and coworkers said he cared a lot about his family and found a good balance between his job and his personal life.

Kenyans went online to comfort the young widow and her two daughters. Many said that the loss was hard and unexpected. Many messages told her to be strong and that the country was there for her during this tough time.

President William Ruto said that the late MP was a forward-thinking leader who served with loyalty.
