A section of Kenyans have stated that during the interview, the journalist was tough on the former Deputy President, with questions that were seemingly designed to corner him.
A section of other critics have accused the journalist of being unprofessional, and even insisted that the Journalist might have been acting on orders from above, to try and taint a bad image of the former Deputy President and DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua.
Among those that have reacted to the interview is popular political analyst, Professor Mutahi Ngunyi. Speaking through his official X page in a late night message, Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has been one of those that has commended the journalist for what he has termed as a 'good job'.
Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has gone further to state that the interview has done nothing but expose the former DP as a fraudster. "Good job my young friend, Trevor Ombija. You have exposed the Fraudster." Stated Professor Mutahi Ngunyi.
According to the analyst, the question that Kenyans should now ask themselves is whether the former Deputy President is a liar or a liberator of the people of the larger Mt. Kenya region.
