This even as the region host Rigathi Gachagua's political critic the deputy president Kithure Kindiki among other key figures that supports president William Ruto and his team from the region.
The former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua together with his team is today in Mount Kenya east where they are drumming up support for the United Opposition a head of the much awaited August 2027 general elections in the country where president William Ruto will be seeking to defend his seat.
In his statement, Gachagua has maintained that the United Opposition will win the coming election amd make Ruto a one term president adding that he will not get votes in mount Kenya.
