A man suspected of committing a series of murders in Katulye, Makueni County, met a violent end after being apprehended by members of the public.

The suspect, who had been on the run, was flushed out of his hideout following a tip-off.

According to reports, he was linked to multiple killings that specifically targeted women, sparking fear and anger across the region.

After weeks of evading capture, his “40 days” came to an end when locals cornered him. He was beaten to death by an angry mob, and his body was later set ablaze as crowds gathered at the scene.

The incident drew large numbers of residents who expressed relief but also deep frustration over the crimes that had shaken their community.
