In a candid revelation, Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir has opened up about the critical moment following the passing of ODM leader Raila Odinga’s younger brother, Oburu Odinga, often referred to as "Baba."
Nassir shared that the day of Baba's death, he was in South Africa, but his immediate response was to reach out to Gladys Wanga, the ODM party Chairperson, to discuss the looming crisis the party might face.
“The day Baba died, I was in South Africa. The first call I made was to Wanga. I sat down with her and told her that the party would go into disarray if we don’t have a leader,” Nassir revealed in an exclusive interview.
