Oburu Oginga has unveiled a fresh political approach for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), marking what he described as a deliberate shift in strategy as the country moves closer to the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during a women’s economic empowerment forum in Homa Bay on Friday, February 27, 2026, Oburu said the party is changing how it engages in national politics.

The event, which brought together women leaders and small-scale traders, focused on strengthening women’s financial independence and expanding opportunities at the grassroots level.

Social media users flooded the comment section with mixed reactions, each trying to explain what they were witnessing.

Some viewers suggested that the incident could be linked to a highly localised weather event. Meteorologists acknowledge that microclimates can sometimes cause rain to fall unevenly over short distances, particularly in areas influenced by shifting wind patterns or varying temperatures.

Others proposed more practical explanations, including the possibility of a leaking overhead tank or burst pipe that may have created the illusion of rainfall concentrated on one property.

However, a section of online users leaned toward more dramatic interpretations, with speculation ranging from unusual natural phenomena to staged content designed to attract attention.

One of the key challenges in verifying the clip is the absence of crucial details. The video does not provide a clear location, date, or background information about the property.

Without this context, it remains difficult to determine whether the scene captured a rare meteorological occurrence, a structural issue, or a carefully edited moment.

Despite the uncertainty, the clip has succeeded in capturing public attention. As discussions continue across social media platforms, the mysterious rainfall remains an intriguing talking point, highlighting once again how quickly unusual footage can ignite debate in the digital age.
