Photos have finally surfaced of the sound engineer who was killed by his wife and buried in a shallow grave.
Reports indicate that the young sound engineer named Athumani Nyanza was discovered dead and secretly interred in a shallow pit beside his home in the Lubakaya area in Dar es Salaam, leaving his family and local residents shocked and grief-stricken.
He had been missing for roughly two weeks before relatives uncovered the truth about his disappearance.
Family members said they had tried to call him, but no one answered.
Suspicion increased after his wife was questioned by the police and later vanished.
His uncle explained that they had been calling him with no response, and after the woman was taken to the authorities, she disappeared.
He added that she had wanted Athumani to sell the house, but he refused, which sparked their disputes.
He also mentioned that she later acquired a fake title deed and even found a fraudulent buyer from Zanzibar.
Relatives noticed a suspicious pit near the house and decided to dig, where they discovered his body buried in the shallow grave.
His sister also revealed that someone had been sending messages from Athumani’s phone pretending to be him, which raised further suspicion among the family.
The Lubakaya community is now mourning the tragic loss as the family prepares for burial while seeking justice.
Police continue to search for the wife, who is believed to be on the run.
